Our mission: To operate as an independent, non-profit, community organisation that assists and supports crime solving through the provision of safe, confidential mechanisms for reporting crime. As a not-for-profit, community-based organisation separate to the police, Crime Stoppers provides an alternative avenue for reporting crime rather than contacting a police officer. When you call Crime Stoppers, you’re speaking confidentially to an experienced operator who compiles a report on your behalf. Once we have the information you provide, we forward it to the police – anonymously.
