Rural Health Tasmania Inc. was developed as a means to responding to unmet health and well-being needs within the Circular Head community. This is achieved by focusing programs and services on a range of health and well-being issues identified as social determinants of health within our community. To deliver effective services and outcomes, Rural Health Tasmania (identifies need, accessibility, viability, availability of resources and projected service outcomes, develops, promotes and implements evidence based programs and services and evaluates process, impact and outcome. Services are developed and delivered with a focus on empowering individuals, families and communities and breaking the generative cycle of poor health, poverty and disadvantage.
